Instructional Assistant I & II - Special Education

About This Role

Provide instructional support to teachers and students in designated special education programs during part-time hours. Assist with behavior management, student progress monitoring, and routine clerical duties in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and assistance to teachers and students in designated special education programs
• Perform instructional support activities related to behavior management for special education students
• Monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance
• Assist with a variety of routine clerical duties related to classroom activities
• Assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individuals or groups of students in critical skills special education programs
