InColor Merchandising Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise seasonal merchandising teams at retail stores to ensure effective display, care, and sales of live plant products for the 6-Week Costco Spring Vestibule Program. Manage daily merchandising functions, inventory control, and team operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee seasonal staff at 1-2 retail stores for the 6-Week Costco Spring Vestibule Program
• Interview and hire a team of approximately 10-20+ seasonal workers
• Manage daily merchandising functions and care for live plant products
• Train, schedule, evaluate, and counsel employees
• Prepare stores for incoming deliveries by reviewing rack counts and truck schedules
• Perform inventory counts and submit reports for receiving, tracking RTV, and sales
• Communicate daily with Costco/client management
• Manage a labor budget and store inventories, including dump, shrink, and pricing changes
• Ensure completion of merchandising tasks, including display organization, signage, and watering
• Coordinate safety concerns with HR and report all injuries or incidents

Requirements

• 1-2 years of supervisory/management/sales experience (or related education) OR 2-3 seasons of experience with Customer Service / Retail / Merchandising
• Current and valid Driver’s License
• Proof of vehicle insurance
• Ability to use or learn both Android & Apple iOS systems
• Basic computer literacy, including MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Must be 21 years of age
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a Background Check

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory/management/sales experience or related education, OR 2-3 seasons of customer service/retail/merchandising experience

Nice to Have

• Experience leading teams or working within a supervisor/manager capacity
• Experience with building customer/client relationships, conflict resolution, or account management
