The HVAC Installation Supervisor will lead and schedule residential installation crews, ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant HVAC system installations while maintaining customer satisfaction and jobsite quality. This role involves managing personnel, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing project execution.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule installation employees, including hiring, training, and discipline
- Review workloads and assign tasks to maximize efficiency
- Communicate with homeowners and inspectors to coordinate work
- Order and track materials and equipment for jobs
- Visit job sites to inspect progress and quality
- Ensure permits are obtained and inspections are completed
- Assist crews with technical questions and challenges
- Verify job completion and process documentation and payments
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues
- Prepare reports on operations, materials, and vehicle use
- Identify training needs and provide ongoing instruction
Requirements
- 5+ years of HVAC installation experience
- EPA certification
- Basic carpentry knowledge
- Gas piping knowledge
- Electrical knowledge
- Airflow knowledge
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to use smartphone apps
- Strong understanding of local codes
- Strong understanding of industry standards
