About This Role

This Human Resources Recruiter role is responsible for selecting employees to meet the hiring needs of California's Great America. The individual will screen applicants, participate in hiring events, and perform administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable local, state and federal employment laws
• Screen applicants to ensure they meet California's Great America minimum hiring criteria
• Participate in various hiring events including internal and external job fairs
• Perform administrative tasks, including entry of employment data in a variety of computer systems
• Email, copy, and scan documents as needed
• Communicate with applicants via phone, e-mail, mail, or in person
• Coordinate employment needs for all Park departments as required
• Resolve all routine applicant issues/complaints consistent with service standards

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• FULL Availability, including weekends, weekdays, evenings, and holidays
• Available to commit to at least 3 months
• Love helping others and support the needs of guests and associates
• Passion and excitement about California's Great America
