Rides Team Member

About This Role

This role is responsible for providing guests with a safe and enjoyable experience on amusement park rides, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and assisting with ride operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience
• Entertain guests and calm their nerves as they board attractions
• Operate ride mechanisms by pushing buttons and pulling switches
• Ensure seatbelts are tight, loose items are secure, and lap bars are locked
• Enforce rider restrictions and measure for height requirements
• Assist guests in and out of ride vehicles and maintain efficient line flow
• Keep ride patios and midways clean
• Act as a first responder to ride emergencies

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Positive attitude
• Ability to react well in stressful and emergency situations
• Ability to take direction from managers and supervisors
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout shift
• Excellent verbal communication skills
