This role will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department at Worlds of Fun, focusing on employee onboarding, record maintenance, and engagement initiatives to ensure accurate and compliant HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including completing necessary paperwork and reviewing information for accuracy and compliance
- Respond to employee inquiries and concerns, referring them to appropriate resources as needed
- Maintain employee records, including updating personal information and tracking sick time
- Assist with the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the human resources department
- Work on specialized projects in areas such as recruitment, training, and ambassador engagement/relations, as assigned
- Assist in wardrobe distribution, including using POS for uniform checkout, exchanges, and laundering
- Manage job requisition, offer process, recruiting efforts, and applicant's paperwork
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to learn and use systems, processes, and Microsoft systems
- Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
