This role is responsible for performing daily housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and order in resident rooms and common areas within a senior living community. The Housekeeper ensures a safe physical environment and supports the team by assisting in laundry services and managing supplies.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily housekeeping tasks in assigned areas, including resident rooms and common spaces
- Ensure Caution/Safety signs are in place when needed to ensure a safe environment
- Keep work areas clean and organized, and ensure tools and supplies are stored properly
- Inform supervisor when cleaning or laundry supplies are running low
- Assist in the laundry area when needed
- Take on other related tasks as assigned to support the team
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with coworkers, residents, and their families
- Ability to make day-to-day decisions that support your team and department with minimal supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
- Friendly, dependable attitude
- Flexibility and compassion
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED (preferred, but not required)
