Housekeeper

About This Role

This role is responsible for performing daily housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and order in resident rooms and common areas within a senior living community. The Housekeeper ensures a safe physical environment and supports the team by assisting in laundry services and managing supplies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily housekeeping tasks in assigned areas, including resident rooms and common spaces
• Ensure Caution/Safety signs are in place when needed to ensure a safe environment
• Keep work areas clean and organized, and ensure tools and supplies are stored properly
• Inform supervisor when cleaning or laundry supplies are running low
• Assist in the laundry area when needed
• Take on other related tasks as assigned to support the team

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with coworkers, residents, and their families
• Ability to make day-to-day decisions that support your team and department with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service skills
• Friendly, dependable attitude
• Flexibility and compassion

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED (preferred, but not required)

Nice to Have

• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care
