About This Role

Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents with memory impairments in a memory care community, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in resident rooms and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the community
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in resident rooms and common areas
• Support a safe and dignified environment for residents with memory impairments

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia
• Ability to perform active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• No prior experience necessary, assisted living or hospitality experience a plus

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with older adults or memory care
