About This Role

This Houskeeper I role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms and other areas, ensuring a high standard of presentation and guest satisfaction in a remote camp or hotel setting. The role involves physical tasks and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safety culture by following all SOP’s, JSA’s, Policies and Procedures set out by Target Hospitality
  • Make beds and clean all aspects of rooms daily, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping/mopping, cleaning washrooms, closets, windows and mirrors
  • Clean and sanitize washrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers and floors
  • Replenish items in guest rooms such as facial tissue, toilet paper and body wash
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized housekeeping cart equipped with necessary PPE
  • Ensure all chemicals are dispensed, used and stored in compliance with the Target Hospitality HSE program
  • Assist in restocking and maintaining the cleanliness of housekeeping areas and laundry
  • Provide world-class customer service to guests
  • Attend all safety meetings and participate in Target Hospitality emergency response procedures

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively, written and orally in English
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with or without supervision
  • Ability and willingness to travel/work long rotations away from home
  • Must be able to pass a background check and urinalysis
  • Must provide your own transportation to and from the facility

Qualifications

  • 0-1 year housekeeping experience, preferably in a remote camp or hotel/hospitality industries or equivalent

Nice to Have

  • First aid certification
  • Housekeeping experience in a remote camp or hotel/hospitality industries
