Housekeeper (Ambulatory Services)

About This Role

Perform specialized cleaning duties to disinfect ambulatory healthcare facilities including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas, contributing to a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect surfaces with provided chemicals
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges
• Clean reception glass and entrance windows
• Move chairs/stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment on wheels, scales, and other items for proper cleaning, then realign items according to recommended layout
• Clean floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming, and perform carpet spot cleaning and upholstery spot cleaning
• Collect and dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste and perform routine cleaning on containers
• Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other items
• Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition
• Work with alarm systems to arm and disarm

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
