Perform specialized cleaning duties to disinfect ambulatory healthcare facilities including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas, contributing to a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Disinfect surfaces with provided chemicals
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges
- Clean reception glass and entrance windows
- Move chairs/stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment on wheels, scales, and other items for proper cleaning, then realign items according to recommended layout
- Clean floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming, and perform carpet spot cleaning and upholstery spot cleaning
- Collect and dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste and perform routine cleaning on containers
- Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other items
- Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition
- Work with alarm systems to arm and disarm

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
