About This Role

Coordinate nursing care and lead a nursing team in a hospital dialysis setting, ensuring high levels of patient safety and care. Supervise teammates regarding policies and procedures, and manage nurse schedules and daily patient census flow.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and coordination of the nursing team in a licensed Hospital setting
  • Support as a Supervisor for the leadership team
  • Provide acute education to oversee teammates in regards to policies and procedures
  • Manage Nurse schedules and daily census flow
  • Ensure the clinical team delivers the highest level of care to patients by ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being
  • Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats and machine set up

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • 2 years Hemodialysis Experience
  • At least 18 months of registered nursing experience
  • Current CPR certification
  • Completed training approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) preferred; three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
  • 2+ years of hemodialysis experience and at least 18 months of registered nursing experience
