Hospice Care Consultant

About This Role

Serve as a strategic sales representative, educating healthcare partners about hospice care and identifying new referral opportunities to ensure patients receive timely support.

Responsibilities

• Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in services for appropriate patient referrals
• Identify new referral opportunities by calling on various healthcare facilities
• Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs and hospice care benefits
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and drive referral growth
• Represent the organization at community events and professional associations
• Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families regarding hospice options

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
• Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or home health professionals
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
• Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets

Qualifications
