Serve as a strategic sales representative, educating healthcare partners about hospice care and identifying new referral opportunities to ensure patients receive timely support.
Responsibilities
- Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in services for appropriate patient referrals
- Identify new referral opportunities by calling on various healthcare facilities
- Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs and hospice care benefits
- Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and drive referral growth
- Represent the organization at community events and professional associations
- Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families regarding hospice options
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
- Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or home health professionals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
- Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
