About This Role

Provide occupational therapy to in-home patients as part of a Medicare-certified home health agency. Assess patients' needs and plan interventions to help them achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy for in-home patients
  • Adhere to individual patient’s needs and goals as addressed in the plan of care
  • Assess patient’s needs and plan appropriate interventions
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary home care team (RNs, PTs, SLPs, MSWs, and other licensed and certified professionals)

Requirements

  • Current license as an occupational therapist from the Commonwealth of PA (or application submitted)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an occupational therapist
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Access to an automobile in good working condition with evidence of insurance per PA State guidelines
  • Maintain CPR Certification
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 software
  • Ability to use electronic charting software and mobile devices
  • Able to work independently and deal effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Passion for person-centered care with a commitment to excellence

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an occupational therapist
