Home and Community Based Therapist

About This Role

Northeast Family Services is hiring caring and experienced Home and Community Based Therapists to provide strength-based therapeutic interventions to youth in their homes and communities. This role helps clients access their core strengths to realize their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide services and care to patients in accordance with NFS policies
• Work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths
• Provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home
• Utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote families' strengths
• Manage one's own schedule with client outreach
• Conduct in-person visits to clients' homes

Requirements

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
• Clinical Licensure in NY state (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT)
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting preferred

Nice to Have

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting
• Some afternoon and evening availability
• Non-English language capacity
• Experience in select clinical specialties
