The Home and Community Based Therapist provides in-person therapeutic interventions and care to patients, particularly children, youth, and families, in their homes according to NFS policies. This role supports clients in accessing their core strengths to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide services and care to patients in accordance with NFS policies
- Work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths
- Provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client's home
- Utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote families' strengths
- Manage one's own schedule with client outreach, including some afternoon and evening availability
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
- Clinical Licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, etc.) in the state of NY
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency
- Ability to provide in-person visits to client homes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting preferred
Nice to Have
- 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting
- Some afternoon and evening availability
