About This Role

This role is responsible for the precise handling of clinical documents within the Health Information Management (HIM) department to ensure efficient retrieval and accessibility for quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Prep, scan, and index all clinical documents received in the HIM department
  • Ensure timely accessibility of information for quality patient care
  • Retrieve and refile records and loose documents in legacy paper records
  • Purge records stored in the permanent file room
  • Prepare purged records for offsite storage

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED
  • One year previous healthcare or customer services experience
