H&H Design Engineer

About This Role

Serve as an H&H Study/Design Task Leader for civil engineering projects in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with potential for growth into a Project Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an H&H Study/Design Task Leader for projects in New Jersey & Pennsylvania
• Perform H&H studies and designs for agency, county, municipal, institutional, and private clients
• Sign and seal H&H modeling runs and H&H Reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• P.E. License in New Jersey, or Pennsylvania, or both (one state required, and upon hiring, commitment to immediately apply for P.E. License in the other)
• Ability to serve as a task leader for H&H studies and designs, including signing/sealing H&H modeling runs and H&H Reports
• Experience with software commonly used for H&H studies and designs in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, e.g. HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-18, PondPACK or similar
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Driver’s License

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of experience with H&H study/design

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CADD Software (MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD)
• Familiarity with drainage design, stormwater management design, and E&S design
