Healthcare Revenue Cycle Manager

About This Role

Lead and deliver small to complex engagements for healthcare clients, focusing on revenue cycle transformation, operating model design, and process improvements. Manage client relationships, oversee deliverables, and contribute to business development within Deloitte's Healthcare Consulting practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver small engagements or components of large, complex engagements for healthcare clients focused on revenue cycle transformation
• Design operating models, process improvements, competitor benchmarking, cost transformation, customer/product innovation, and growth strategy recommendations
• Manage day-to-day client stakeholder relationships and oversee quality of deliverables
• Contribute to Deloitte thought leadership and business development (e.g., proposals, solution design)
• Lead development of junior team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional experts in software, data, AI, and cloud to design sector-specific solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of professional experience in revenue cycle operations within a healthcare provider, consulting, or technology vendor environment
• 5+ years of experience translating requirements into optimized designs
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
• 4+ years of experience leading workstreams and/or small teams
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of professional experience in revenue cycle operations within a healthcare provider, consulting, or technology vendor environment; 5+ years translating requirements into optimized designs; 5+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerPoint; 4+ years leading workstreams and/or small teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Patient Access, Coding, Revenue Integrity, HIM, Charge Integrity, Patient Financial Services
• Proficiency and experience with financial, billing, and reimbursement data
• Working knowledge of UB-04, MA claim form, HCFA-1500, claim form and claim scrubber
• Experience with hospital and physician financial and patient accounting systems (Epic, Cerner, Soarian, SMS, McKesson, Invision, HBOC, MEDITECH, IDX, Eclipsys)
• Experience with tools like Python, Tableau, SQL for advanced analytics
• Basic understanding of automation and machine learning techniques in healthcare
• Advanced degree in business or health care-related field (e.g., MHA, MBA)
