Join the AI & Engineering team to transform technology platforms and drive innovation within healthcare. Partner with clients and Deloitte consultants to analyze information, develop recommendations, and help improve financial performance and fuel growth.
Responsibilities
- Work on engagements in a team-based environment, partnering directly with clients and Deloitte consultants from complementary disciplines.
- Play a key role on the team, gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses.
- Develop actionable recommendations and leverage strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills to support engagements.
- Help present your team's findings to senior client stakeholders and implement recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of professional experience in revenue cycle operations in a health care provider, consulting, or technology vendor environment
- 2+ years of experience in translating requirements into optimized designs
- 3+ years hands on experience with PowerPoint
- Ability to travel 50%, on average
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of professional experience in revenue cycle operations in a health care provider, consulting, or technology vendor environment. 2+ years of experience in translating requirements into optimized designs.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Patient Access, Coding, Revenue Integrity, HIM, Charge Integrity, Patient Financial Services
- Proficiency and experience with financial, billing and reimbursement data
- Working knowledge of UB-04, MA claim form, HCFA-1500, claim form and claim scrubber
- Experience with hospital and physician financial and patient accounting systems (EPIC, Cerner, Soarian, SMS, McKesson, Invision, HBOC, MEDITECH, IDX, Eclipsys)
- Experience with tools for advanced analytics (Python, Tableau) and querying (SQL)
- Basic understanding of automation and machine learning techniques as it applies to healthcare
- Advanced degree in business or health care-related field (e.g., MHA, MBA)
