About This Role

Serve as the initial point of contact for a facility, delivering exceptional service to employees and visitors while maintaining a welcoming and secure reception area. This role supports workplace operations and embodies the company's culture.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet all visitors, employees, and vendors professionally
  • Manage visitor registration using technology systems
  • Coordinate with security for access control compliance
  • Notify employees of visitor arrivals and coordinate escorts
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls
  • Manage inbound deliveries and coordinate distribution
  • Provide general information and directions
  • Monitor reception and lobby areas for cleanliness and appearance
  • Respond to general inquiries and requests
  • Support emergency response procedures and building evacuations
  • Maintain reception area supplies and marketing materials
  • Provide administrative support to the workplace team
  • Document and report workplace issues

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in reception, hospitality, or customer service roles
  • Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Customer service orientation with ability to anticipate needs
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with visitor management systems
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • G-Suite experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in reception, hospitality, or customer service roles

Nice to Have

  • Experience in corporate reception or high-end hospitality environments
  • Background in concierge services or customer experience roles
  • Background in technology companies or similar corporate environments
  • Experience with event or meeting coordination
  • Knowledge of facilities operations and workplace services
  • Security awareness training or certification
  • Experience with service request management systems
