Guest Room Attendant

About This Role

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for meticulously cleaning and maintaining guest rooms according to company and departmental standards to ensure guest satisfaction and room security.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned number of guest rooms according to company and departmental standards
• Change bed linens and replenish with fresh linens
• Dust hard surfaces and vacuum carpeted areas
• Clean bathroom sink, counters, tub/shower, and toilet
• Replenish room amenities such as tissues and soaps
• Stock supply cart with necessary cleaning supplies
• Update room status and complete requisite departmental paperwork
• Notify housekeeping office of any repairs needed in guest rooms
• Handle guest requests quickly and efficiently
• Ensure the security of guest rooms and their contents

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for majority of shift
• Ability to push/pull/maneuver supply cart weighing approximately 200 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to perform physical tasks including kneeling, reaching, stooping, bending, scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in a similar position preferred

Nice to Have

• Knowledgeable in the proper use of chemicals used in cleaning guest rooms
• Prior experience in a similar position
