About This Role

Manage global supply chain projects, ensuring all commitments are met and mitigating risks across various GSC functions. This role is crucial for integrating and executing supply chain plans within the Space Sector.

Responsibilities

  • Support the lead Global Supply Chain Program Manager (GSC PM) on program tasks related to proposal leadership, management, strategy, integration, planning, and execution of GSC material, labor, and services content for assigned programs.
  • Support the GSC PM with assistance for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire Global Supply Chain Program Management team and Global Supply Chain Team Functions.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure all supply chain commitments are met and appropriate integrated mitigation or opportunity plans are developed and executed.
  • Support the GSC PM in all phases of the Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
  • Ensure all elements of proposed supply chain program plans have complete, integrated, and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement operation strategies prior to execution.
  • Lead supply chain execution and account for horizontal and vertical integration, resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity and issue management, supplier performance, and resolution.
  • Brief the GSC PM office on the status and issues affecting Program cost, driving Program risks and opportunities and schedule GSC performance.
  • Manage multifaceted projects through proposals and processes, coordinate interdepartmental activity, direct communication, and coordinate with Suppliers and integrate efforts across all GSC functions.
  • Align project scope and deliverables with customer requirements and work closely with the technical community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience, or Master's degree with 6 years of professional experience (additional 4+ years of experience considered in lieu of degree)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience
  • 8+ years of professional experience, or 6+ years with a Master's degree, with a minimum of 2 years leading a team, process, and/or projects, and previous experience in Supply Chain.

  • Master's Degree

  • Experience working on sustainment programs/projects
  • MRP/ERP system experience
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS
