Gridline Operator

About This Role

Operate the grid oven, washer, conveyor, and tube bender, and perform evaporator assembly using various fixtures and hand tools. This role involves interpreting engineering drawings and performing minor repairs to evaporators.

Responsibilities

• Operate the grid oven, washer, conveyor conveying equipment and tube bender within parameters
• Use various fixtures and hand tools in evaporator assembly
• Lift and move tools, parts and material as prescribed
• Assemble partitions and evaporators
• Inspect and perform minor repair of evaporators
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings instructions and standards
• Perform Waste Treatment procedures as required
• Complete all needed paperwork and use a computer
• Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Successfully complete all training for certification in Grid Line Operations within 2 months
• High school diploma/GED
• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical assembly in a physical manufacturing environment and equipment operations
• Ability to operate torch for solder repair
• Ability to read and use measuring equipment
• Physical ability to stand, walk, twist at the waist, lift, and lower weights up to 50lbs
