This Graphic Designer role is responsible for creating visually compelling content to enhance the Dallas Wings brand across various platforms, supporting fan engagement, revenue goals, and marketing initiatives. The position involves designing assets for digital, social, in-arena, and print media, connecting fans with the team and community.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design creative assets for digital, social media, in-arena, print, and marketing campaigns.
- Develop visually compelling, brand-aligned graphics highlighting players, team storytelling, theme nights, and fan experiences.
- Create design assets supporting ticket sales initiatives, sponsorship activations, merchandise, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Social Media, Content, Partnerships, Community, and Ticketing teams for integrated creative campaigns.
- Design tentpole campaign creative for schedule release, draft, playoffs, theme nights, and major organizational announcements.
- Maintain consistency across brand identity, typography, color systems, and overall visual standards across all platforms.
- Prepare final production-ready files for digital and print formats, including in-arena graphics, promotional materials, and signage.
- Assist in developing branded sponsor creative and marketing partnership fulfillment materials.
- Stay current on sports design trends, emerging creative formats, and fan engagement strategies.
- Manage organization and archiving of creative files and assets, and support real-time creative needs during games and live events.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional graphic design experience
- Professional portfolio demonstrating design and branding capabilities
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Strong typography, layout, and branding fundamentals
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset with ability to take creative direction and contribute original ideas
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays surrounding games and live events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience (sports or entertainment preferred).
