Perform general accounting duties for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's Division of Accounts, including reporting, accounts received, invoicing, and cross-training. This role supports the efficient and fiscally responsible management of the state's transportation system.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly A/R Reports and payroll error reports
- Complete monthly GASB34 No Program Report and portions of the Financial Report to Management
- Monitor and Maintain Cash Receipts
- Monitor FEMA activity and cross train
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with accounting coursework
- One year of professional accounting experience
- Authorization to work in the United States
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (which includes twenty semester hours or thirty quarter hours in accounting)
- One year of professional accounting experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with EMARS accounting system
- Experience with EMARS Reporting System including KYTC TED
