About This Role

This role involves supporting the General Merchandise and Food Sales team by executing daily tasks, ensuring product availability and accuracy, and providing excellent guest service in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Execute daily tasks to achieve business goals, including receiving products, restocking shelves, and organizing the backroom
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified
• Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise setup, and inventory accuracy
• Learn operational procedures affecting inventory management, store profitability, and product availability
• Be knowledgeable about total store resources, products, and services
• Support guest services such as back-up cashiering and digital fulfillment processes
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting up to 44 pounds

Requirements

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
• Ability to accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Ability to climb up and down ladders
• Ability to frequently lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance
• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable and prompt attendance
• Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements
