Global Payroll Advisory Manager

About This Role

Guide clients in global payroll and workforce management strategy, analyzing current processes, identifying pain points, and advising on technology options to improve overall payroll function.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients to analyze the current state of payroll processes and identify pain points
• Advise clients on technology options to improve their overall Payroll function
• Demonstrate leadership experience and accountability to team outputs
• Lead teams, deliver work, and design work efforts
• Support sales as an emerging business advisor and project manager
• Work with top brands and global organizations to solve complicated payroll problems
• Lead a team in the full lifecycle of a project including Business Analysis, Functional Specification, System Configuration, Design, and Testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience actively working with Payroll and Workforce Management functions and processes
• 6+ years of Global payroll experience
• 6+ years of external Consulting Experience
• 6+ years of experience working with global fortune 500 firms
• 6+ years of experience leading requirements gathering workshops or facilitating meetings
• 6+ years of experience leading the vendor selection process (client and supplier sides) including RFPs, RFIs, scoring and evaluating products and services
• Experience with payroll software such as ADP, Dayforce, UKG, Workday, Oracle Cloud, Infor CloudSuite, or SAP/SuccessFactors and system infrastructure
• Ability to interact at all levels of the client organization and develop strong relationships with client executives
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• 4+ years of experience with and desire to mentor junior staff
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience actively working with Payroll and Workforce Management functions and processes; 6+ years of Global payroll experience; 6+ years of external Consulting Experience; 6+ years of experience working with global fortune 500 firms; 6+ years of experience leading requirements gathering workshops or facilitating meetings; 6+ years of experience leading the vendor selection process

Nice to Have

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint, with at least 2 years' experience creating advanced Excel models and developing client-ready PowerPoint presentations for executive-level audiences
• 6+ years of industry experience as a payroll professional
• 2+ years of experience in driving sales
