About This Role

The Glazing Estimator provides profitable cost estimates for new, existing, and repair glazing products, designs, and services. This role involves preparing quotes for customers according to company guidelines and parameters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work to be estimated by gathering and evaluating proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentation.
• Estimate all production costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Review estimate elements for adequacy, uniformity, and completeness, ensuring cost-based accuracy and timely documentation.
• Communicate company related requirements and specifications with customers and vendors regarding products and services.
• Monitor change orders, communicate their price-effect with customers, and compute cost factors for itemized cost work sheets.
• Ensure installation is completed as required based upon the customer's schedule.
• Audit comprehensive job costing results to continuously improve the estimation process.
• Maintain all quotation and proposal records as required by Company policy.
