As a Lead Analyst supporting Global Financial Services, you will manage vendor master data, including processing add/change requests, verifying tax forms, and maintaining vendor records.
Responsibilities
- Review Vendor Add/Change requests and update vendor records via the Master Data Governance (MDG) tool
- Contact Vendors by phone or email to obtain banking information for electronic payment rejects
- Collect and verify Vendor W-9 forms through the IRS TIN Matching program
- Collect and verify Vendor W-8 forms, ensuring accurate completion and conducting annual reviews for expirations
- Collect appropriate vendor information for Extended Withholding purposes (e.g., California, Puerto Rico, Pennsylvania)
- Maintain and perform annual reporting for IRS 1099-MISC
- Handle Tax Levies, Letters of Assignments, and other mail as required
- Run Metrics and other Vendor Master reports
- Conduct semi-annual review and deactivation of inactive vendors
- Create and maintain desktop procedures and customer training documents
- Participate in Project Committee and/or management initiatives
Requirements
- Associate's degree in finance or 3+ years related experience in Vendor Database Maintenance and/or Accounts Payable
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel and MS Word
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and resolve difficult AP related problems
- Ability to read, comprehend and explain firm policies relating to purchasing
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to professionally interact with all levels of internal customers
- Strong presentation/training skills
- Ability to handle heavy, fast paced and potentially changing workload
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work autonomously

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in finance or 3+ years related experience
- 3+ years related experience in Vendor Database Maintenance and/or Accounts Payable and 3+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of 1099 reporting and Withholding tax rules
