Provide telehealth genetic counseling services to patients with various indications, including rare disease, cancer, and reproductive genetics. Deliver pre- and post-test consultations and generate concise patient reports.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-test genetic counseling consultations via telephone or video for a variety of indications
- Generate consult summary reports for the patient’s records
- Coordinate limited test ordering through lab portals
- Utilize peer-reviewed literature and internal resources for genetic counseling and documentation to provide individualized patient care
Requirements
- ABGC certification
- Active licensure in a minimum of 10 states
- Reside in the US
- Experience counseling patients on whole exome sequencing and/or pharmacogenetics
- Minimum 1 year of clinical genetic counseling experience
- Comfort counseling across a range of indications, test types and results
- Minimum 5 hours of scheduled consults weekly availability with at least some availability on nights and weekends
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of clinical genetic counseling experience

- Bilingual speaker
- Licensure in >20 states
