Fuzziwig's Candy Store Specialty Shop Manager

About This Role

Manage the Fuzziwig's Candy Store within SCHEELS, overseeing operations, inventory, and maintaining food safety standards. Lead and train associates to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Follow all food safety guidelines by State and Local Ordinances
• Analyze reports and make decisions about inventory purchasing, merchandise arrangement, and sales trends
• Prepare fudge and chocolate treats according to recipe, guidelines, and food safety standards
• Maintain working knowledge of Fuzziwig’s recipes and prepared foods
• Ensure all products are received and stored according to Standard Operating Guidelines
• Train all new associates using kitchen tools, mentor checklists, and Standard Operating Guidelines
• Ensure cash control and till management is followed according to SCHEELS Cashier Guidelines
• Manage and support running side work, daily and detail cleaning schedules, opening and closing procedures
• Maintain an orderly and exceptionally clean appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas
• Provide backup to Ginna’s Cafe team as needed
• Prepare many different types of food, drinks and ingredients

Requirements

• Must be Servsafe certified
• Ability to perform repetitive fudge/chocolate production processes which include stirring, pulling, and cutting
• Ability to work assigned scheduled which may include varied hours, evening, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness and ability to travel for required training
• 1-3 months related experience or training or equivalent education

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or a general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 months related experience or training
