Functional Test Technician

About This Role

Perform functional testing of aircraft electrical systems and components, troubleshoot aircraft systems, and repair faults for a global engineering and consulting firm.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of aircraft electrical systems and components
• Perform aircraft systems troubleshooting and fault repair
• Assess and document test or analysis data to show compliance
• Identify roadblocks and production constraints, escalating issues which cannot be resolved by the team
• Support teammates to improve overall team performance by providing cross training and mentoring
• Adhere to high standards of Safety and Compliance to regulation

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing
• 7+ years of experience in electrical assembly and/or electronic materials
• 7+ years of experience in avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, and aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting
• 7+ years of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications
• 7+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing, electrical assembly, electronic materials, avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting, and using software applications.
