Full Stack Engineer

About This Role

As an experienced Full Stack Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy custom Android launcher solutions and advanced applications for enterprise mobility use cases. You will maintain a high-quality codebase, lead design discussions, and drive digital innovation within a defined set of teams as a consultant in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom Android launcher solutions for enterprise mobility use cases, including packaging, signing, and controlled distribution at scale.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code for Android applications and supporting components.
• Engineer solutions that work across multiple Android versions, device types, and screen sizes, ensuring consistent behavior and user experience.
• Apply Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices to develop intuitive, efficient, and maintainable user interfaces.
• Lead design discussions, define technical approaches, and execute development against approved designs while navigating and improving complex existing codebases.
• Establish and maintain a high-quality codebase through code reviews, refactoring, performance optimization, and testing practices.
• Lead development implementation of the technology strategy within a defined set of teams, executing against the technology roadmap to support the project portfolio and business strategy.
• Document architecture, application design decisions, deployment procedures, and operational support processes for internal knowledge sharing.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and/or technical teams.
• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in Android platform development
• 5+ years experience in Android version/device compatibility
• 5+ years experience with Android UI/UX design principles, patterns, and best practices
• 5+ years experience with Java for Android
• 5+ years experience aligning solution design to enterprise architecture standards and security/risk requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in Android platform development, Android version/device compatibility, Android UI/UX, Java, and architecture & standards.
