Fulfillment Associate

About This Role

The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately picking, staging, and fulfilling customer orders, ensuring excellent service and maintaining organized staging areas.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time
• Maintain staging areas clean, organized, and safe
• Deliver excellent service by choosing high quality items and validating orders
• Answer customer questions and connect them with the right associates
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment (Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck)
• Follow all safety requirements
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App and maintaining SIMS compliance
• Partner with leadership to resolve short picks
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits and order follow-ups
• Report safety or theft concerns promptly

Requirements

• 6 Months of Experience using a computer
• 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (or ability to obtain)

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer. 6 months of experience using common retail technology.

Nice to Have

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 Months of Retail experience
• 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer
• 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material
