Fryer Operator Trainee

About This Role

Operate the fryer and related systems at a leading food manufacturer, with primary responsibility for product quality regarding solids, color, and texture. This role involves understanding the purpose and operation of the fryer area and making sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the fryer and related systems
• Ensure product quality with regard to solids, color, and texture
• Monitor and manage all equipment in the fryer area, including the oil miser
• Perform free fatty acid tests
• Maintain and record temperatures of all equipment in the work area
• Ensure correct oil usage for each product being produced
• Enter and change data in the computer system
• Maintain sanitation for the work area
• Establish and maintain open communication and productive work relationships with Q.A., Maintenance, Production, and other shift support personnel

Requirements

• Ability to fully understand the purpose and operation of the fryer area
• Ability to make decisions based on sound judgment
