Frozen Food/Dairy Manager

About This Role

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, freshness, and saleability of floral and frozen food/dairy products. It involves maintaining a selling atmosphere and communicating guest and operational issues to management.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests
• Receive floral product and ensure quality, freshness, sale ability, and accuracy of delivery invoices
• Condition and merchandise product for sale
• Maintain high quality product on sales floor
• Ensure accurate retails and achieve department gross profit targets
• Maintain a selling atmosphere conducive to impulse and eye appeal purchasing
• Communicate guest requests to management
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to management
• Perform duties in the produce department as well as throughout the store as assigned by management

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to lift 15 lbs
• Ability to read and understand information and direction
• Effective communication and guest service skills
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
