Front Desk Representative

About This Role

As a Front Desk Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining guest satisfaction by checking in guests, managing front desk transactions, and handling special requests and complaints efficiently and accurately. You will also maintain knowledge of hotel operations and ensure compliance with gaming laws.

Responsibilities

• Assign guests rooms in accordance with current policies and procedures
• Manage cash flow in assigned bank and perform account postings
• Maintain knowledge of hotel occupancy status, special events, in-house groups, and other situations affecting daily operations
• Process guest accounts upon check-out in an efficient and accurate manner
• Handle all special requests and complaints until guest is completely satisfied
• Assist other departments with pertinent requirements they may have regarding hotel guests
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Verify right to work in the United States
• Strong guest service abilities
• Proven experience providing high level of guest service
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 6 months experience in a similar role or with relevant transferable skills preferred

Nice to Have

• 6 months experience in role with similar responsibilities or with relevant transferable skills
• Experience with 10-key touch proficiency
