Front Desk Receptionist

About This Role

Serve as a Front Desk Receptionist at Beacon Clinic, handling patient check-ins/outs, managing clinic administrative tasks, and contributing to a positive patient experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with check-in/out, including completion of intake forms
• Obtain identification and insurance information from patients
• Collect payments such as copays and balances
• Direct walk-in visitors to the appropriate department or staff member
• Prepare patients for appointments and advise them on required documents like insurance information and medication lists
• Utilize office equipment including computer, fax, copier, and scanner
• Navigate multiple medical software programs, including Microsoft Office
• Perform cleaning and stocking for the front office, reception area, patient lounge, restrooms
• Perform cleaning and stocking for employee meeting rooms, kitchen, and coffee bars
• Ensure both patient and employee facing clinic areas are clean and comfortable

Requirements

• Experience in a front office position or other administrative duties
• Compassionate and caring bedside manner
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work extremely well in a group setting

Qualifications

• Experience in a front office position or other administrative duties a must.

• Experience in a medical office
