FP&A Analyst

About This Role

The FP&A Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial statements, inspecting and predicting future company performance, and driving process improvements through financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Work within NetSuite and other company operating systems to identify financial and operational trends and create advanced reporting for management
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators across Finance, Operations, and Sales
• Perform budgeting and financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Create financial models for decision support based on financial data analysis
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools to increase productivity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3+ years of previous experience in financial analysis/modeling
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis
• Ability to self-manage progress and deliverables with a high degree of urgency and accountability

Nice to Have

• Advanced MS Excel modeling skills (data models, queries, ODBC, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Business Intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
