Provide exceptional customer service as a Food Lion To Go Associate, ensuring a fast, easy, flexible, and friendly shopping experience. This role supports the To-Go Lead in maintaining operational standards and maximizing sales.
Responsibilities
- Smile, greet each customer, and provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service
- Shop multiple customer orders using designated tools and equipment
- Recognize and differentiate between all types of produce
- Substitute items when requested by customers
- Scan, bag, and label purchases efficiently and accurately
- Verify customer IDs for alcoholic beverage sales
- Assist customers picking up orders
- Complete Accountability Form end-to-end
- Adhere to company guidelines, policies, and standard practices
- Observe and correct unsafe conditions to prevent accidents
Requirements
- Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements
- Meet minimum age requirements, when applicable, to perform specific job functions
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
