Flex Security Officer

About This Role

Serve as a Flex Security Officer, ensuring the safety and security of client premises by conducting patrols, monitoring entrances/exits, resolving conflicts, and responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations
• Secure entrances and exits
• Conduct patrols inside and outside client premises in various weather conditions
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity
• Support staffing requirements at multiple sites during shortages
• Assist in start-up sites and special security assignments
• Work weekends and holidays with limited notice
• Carry out specific tasks and duties as required for assigned sites

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
• Standard computer / technology skills
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals professionally
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and appropriate escalation
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Must be able to work 2 out of 3 shifts - open availability proffered

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
