As a Security Officer - Flex Reception Desk in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. This role involves being the first point of contact, welcoming visitors, managing sign-ins, and helping maintain a controlled entry experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, completing required logs and/or reports, and supporting security-related procedures for visitors, tenants, and vendors
- Control access at the reception area by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and delivery records, and directing individuals to the appropriate contact or location
- Monitor front desk systems such as cameras, alarms, and intercoms when assigned, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision
- Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures, including assisting with notifications, documentation, and coordination with first responders
Requirements
- 2+ years of security-related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of security-related experience
Nice to Have
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet
- Guard card or license
- Alarm panel experience
- Access control or badge experience
