This role involves designing and implementing system standards and processes for the OneStream Planning system, supporting the organization's budgeting and forecasting. The manager will ensure the availability and reliability of the system from a business perspective, collaborating with IT and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust system standards and processes for the OneStream Planning system
- Manage the availability and reliability of the OneStream Planning System from a business perspective
- Lead and participate in the design, evaluation, testing, and implementation of applications, reports, and dashboards
- Act as the primary contact for the company’s planning system, covering configuration to sophisticated planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Lead and participate in driving an effective data stewardess environment across functional business owners through data integrity, efficient & accurate configurations, and data validation
- Manage and troubleshoot OneStream support tickets, including Cubeview, Quickview, XFset data, and Data management support
- Facilitate business process requirement sessions to improve and automate planning processes
- Assess overall impact of change requests related to business requirements, managing updates, enhancements, integrations, and testing
- Manage the annual Principal planning cycles and lead design, testing, implementation, and support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and seven (7) or more years of experience working with financial systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical and data analysis skills
- Capable of working and communicating effectively with professionals at all levels
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with an attention to detail
- Superior analytical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent computer skills, and the aptitude to learn new software applications
- Superior customer service skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) or more years of experience working with financial systems
- 7+ years of experience working with financial systems
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology
- Master's degree
- Experience working within a professional services firm such as accounting, financial services, business advisory and/or banking industries
- Supervisory experience
- Proficient in the use of Business Intelligence Reporting Tools (i.e. OneStream, Hyperion, PowerBi, FDI/FAW)
