Finance Manager

About This Role

This Manager, Finance position leads a high-performing Analytics team, focusing on metrics reporting, process improvement, and financial analysis. The role involves supporting budgeting, forecasting, and collaborating with various teams within DaVita Labs.

Responsibilities

• Manage DeLand-based accounting, financial reporting, and data analytics team
• Construct presentation-ready decks for senior leadership
• Gather, present, and provide explanations for operational and financial metrics
• Analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations to improve operational performance
• Respond to requests for ad hoc financial and operational analysis
• Build and maintain financial models for evaluating pricing, profitability, operational capacity, and performance
• Gain a detailed understanding of user/customer needs and deploy resources to build solutions
• Coordinate and review Month-end close processes
• Lead and/or support complex, cross-functional process improvement initiatives
• Delegate and prioritize requests and projects for analytics team
• Ensure high quality of analytical output

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years’ management experience
• Extensive experience with financial systems and financial reporting
• Strong business process and data analysis skills
• Ability to create complex financial models for analytics around profitability, pricing, and operations
• Proficiency in report writing software (COGNOS or Crystal Reports)
• Intermediate SQL query writing skills
• Understanding of relational database concepts
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years’ management experience

Nice to Have

• MBA, CPA, or MAcc
• Six Sigma experience and training
