Finance Manager

About This Role

The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in a growing mid-sized law firm, working closely with shareholders and the director of operations to manage financial planning, budgeting, and data analysis. This position drives financial strategy and supports business decisions through insightful analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting process, monitor performance against budgets, and develop financial forecasts
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and track performance of attorneys, clients, and areas of practice
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including cost control
• Handle payroll and related tasks
• Analyze and prepare financial reports and statements
• Create and/or update internal accounting processes
• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• 8+ years of law firm experience
• Solid understanding of finance and data analysis
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• An aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving
