Field Service Technician

About This Role

The Field Service Technician will work closely with a Sr. Field Service Technician to learn STC's processes and provide on-site service to customers. This role involves extensive national and international travel to build, install, maintain, and repair large electrical and mechanical equipment for aircraft engine testing.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a Sr. Field Service Technician to acclimate to STC's processes and procedures
• Provide on-site servicing to customer needs
• Travel nationally and internationally to customer sites
• Build, install, maintain, and repair large electrical and mechanical equipment and components
• Install electrical wiring and conduit
• Troubleshoot electrical issues

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively for Field Service assignments
• Willingness and ability to undertake frequent and extended international travel under demanding schedules and conditions

Qualifications

• Technical degree in an electrical or electro-mechanical discipline
• Years of experience may vary depending on the level of field service responsibility; experience installing automated electro-mechanical systems in an industrial environment is preferred; experience installing electrical wiring, conduit, and troubleshooting is preferred.
