Field Engineer

About This Role

This Field Engineer role involves assisting with various aspects of electrical and industrial construction projects, including estimates, work packages, quantity surveying, and reporting, while ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field estimates, change orders, billing, and purchasing
• Assist with building work packages
• Conduct quantity surveying and tracking
• Assist with timekeeping as needed
• Assist with document control
• Assist with preparing weekly progress reports
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management

Requirements

• 2-4 years of work experience in electrical and industrial construction
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications
• Basic knowledge in estimating and controls
• Working knowledge of MS Office software
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications

• At least 2-4 years of work experience in electrical and industrial construction
