Sherwood Urgent Care is seeking dedicated Family Nurse Practitioners to provide exceptional patient care to all ages in Batesville, AR. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and educating patients while maintaining high standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors and coworkers
- Deliver convenient, friendly patient care to all who seek health-related services
- Perform medical assessment, treatment, management and follow up of clinic patients for acute and chronic conditions
- Execute medical procedures including laceration repairs, nail removal, pap tests, injections, splinting and abscess incision and drainage
- Establish and monitor medically appropriate level of care for clinic patients
- Oversee, direct, and support on-site laboratory, x-rays, injections, and collections for direct access services
- Maintain clinical core competency
- Cooperate and participate in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice, quality of care, and patient satisfaction
- Provide guidance to other medical staff (e.g. physician assistants, nurse practitioners and medical assistants)
Requirements
- Active state license as an APRN
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Board Certification
- Current DEA license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire
- Current DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- Experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner is preferred
