Facilities Project Representative

About This Role

Act as a Facilities Project Representative for Walt Disney Imagineering, providing technical leadership and oversight for facility construction projects from conceptual design through construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and technical leadership from conceptual design through construction on multiple projects for the Facilities and Operations Division
• Plan and supervise facility construction teams during minor tenant improvement upgrade projects
• Act as a representative of the WDI/Disney Consumer Products (DCP) Facilities and Operations Division on project teams
• Direct activities of in-house staff and collaborate with design and delivery teams in preparing construction contract documents
• Provide technical and administrative direction to ensure project costs remain within budget
• Perform mock-up space sizing analysis, coordination, and allocation within WDI/DCP buildings as needed
• Review building plans and projects using AutoCAD and other relevant programs
• Coordinate space management, office move support, and related operational activities
• Manage maintenance and leasing of vehicles and specialty items (e.g., dumpsters)
• Assist Environmental and Safety teams with ongoing initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Valid State Driver’s License
• Design or facilities experience, including responsibility for production of working drawings, specifications and other construction documents in building design and construction
• Demonstrated experience in Project/Construction Management and Change Management
• Ability to think strategically and tactically, with strong problem-solving skills
• Capable of handling diverse projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership skills to provide direction and manage relationships in a team environment
• Ability to anticipate client and partner needs and adapt to change effectively
• Excellent communication skills in a corporate setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with some college training in the facilities/construction field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
• General/Construction OSHA 30
• Bachelor's degree in Construction management, Architecture, Interior Design or related disciplines is desirable
