This Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative partnership to senior leaders within a fast-moving Industrials investment team at a global private equity firm. The role requires exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, managing complex schedules, governance workflows, and board-related coordination.
Responsibilities
- Support senior leadership across a fast-moving investment team
- Coordinate board meetings, governance cadences, and deal-related scheduling
- Anticipate needs and proactively remove friction points
- Serve as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders and portfolio company executives
- Adapt to varying working styles while maintaining high-impact, consistent support
- Manage heavy, complex calendar
- Prioritize and vet meeting requests; independently reorganize schedules as needed
- Act as gatekeeper and thought partner to senior leaders
- Coordinate domestic and international travel with detailed itineraries
- Complete accurate, timely monthly expense reports
- Handle communication with professionalism and discretion
- Build strong relationships across internal teams, executives, and portfolio companies
- Manage fluid, deal-related scheduling
- Oversee logistics and pacing for financial reviews and other key deliverables
- Partner with support teams across portfolio companies
- Maintain accuracy, judgment, and composure in a fast-changing environment
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing EA team culture
Requirements
- 5-7 years of Executive Assistant experience
- Private equity deal-team experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, calendar management)
- Proficiency with Teams, OneDrive, Adobe, and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5-7 years of Executive Assistant experience, ideally supporting senior executives
